Tversted

Tversted is a small cozy village with only 500 permanent citizens, and has managed to keep its original village-environment.

Tversted is just beside the Northern Sea and is a neighbor to huge areas of natural beauty.

Tversted church is a beautiful Roman church from the 1100th century.

Tversted dune area with the Tversted lakes is a lovely nature area very close to the beach with two wiev-points and hiking tracks.

The old mill “Østerklit” is well preserved, and is the only mil in Denmark which you can still see in function today.

Many artists have chosen to settle down close to Tversted and are inspired by the light and nature in the area.
